Welcome to Fingerprinting Las Vegas! We provide digital LiveScan fingerprint service for anyone who needs fingerprinting done for license applications. No messy ink. No old fashion cards. When we take your fingerprints, we send them to the appropriate state and federal agencies the same day via encrypted network. We can fingerprint for ALL licenses in Nevada that permit digital LiveScan. When you come in you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will look over your paperwork to make sure it’s all in order. Then we will complete your fingerprinting on our digital LiveScan computer. You will be given a receipt as proof of completion. That’s it…it’s all automated from that point forward! OLD SCHOOL FINGERPRINTING
Fingerprinting for the identification of criminal suspects was started in Scotland Yard in England in the late 1800s. We are all familiar with Detective Sherlock Holmes using his magnifying glass to view fingerprints at a crime scene. Watch old movies or cop shows and you’ll see criminals having their prints taken by having their fingers rolled on ink pads, and then rolled on paper forms. When crimes are committed, detectives use magnifying glasses to look at the fingerprints on file with those taken at crime scenes. Well, those days are over.
WHAT IS LIVESCAN DIGITAL FINGERPRINTING?
Today we have digital LiveScan technology that has eliminated the need for rolling your fingers in ink. When you come to our office we will still roll your fingers, but not on ink. Rather, your fingerprints will be taken on a glass scanner that creates a digital image of your prints. The digital images are then sent on an encrypted network to the proper authorities. It’s quick, easy, a lot less messy, and safe.
