HOME HEALTH CARE FINGERPRINTS

If you need fingerprints for Home Health Care, you will receive a referral form from your employer or agency. At the top of this form, you will have the following code numbers: ORI, DPS Account, Reason, OCA. You must bring this form in with you as we need those code numbers. The FBI will automatically update the NABBS system that your employer searchers to see your results.

IMPORTANT: Home Health Care and Nursing are different license types. Sometimes people use these terms as synonyms. When you come in for fingerprints, please specify you are there for your Home Health Care (don’t say “I”m a nurse”) and give us your paperwork. The Nevada Board of Examiners licenses home health care providers for Long-Term Care.

The fee is $65 (which includes the $40 FBI fee). Pay by cash or card.

Fee Increase notice: Beginning 7/1/2019 the state of Nevada DPS is increasing the background processing fee by $5. The fees listed on this web site reflect this increase.
